POSITION DESCRIPTION:Administers 1st aid treatment to and arranges for transport of sick or injuredpersons to medical facility, working as member of emergency medical team. Provides protectiveservices by making periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and firecontrol equipment. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations pertaining to personnel,visitors, and premises.Distinguishing Characteristics:Duties include essential function of providing emergency medical technician services as designated byclient contract.
