Sr Analyst, Programmer - (Balcones Heights, TX)

HVHC is currently hiring for a top notch individual to office in San Antonio, TX for the position of Senior Programmer Analyst . Serves as the senior programmer for key systems within a business unit and perform the role of project leader as needed. Provide technical assistance and training within teams and assists management in providing direction, guidance, and support to programmer analysts. Fully understands the business unit functions supported and the integration between the business applications. Summary of Responsibilities: * Evaluate requests for new programs or existing program enhancements to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current systems and provide recommendations. * Define development standards and methodologies for best practices; lead others in the compliance of these practices. * Create technical design specifications. * Document data specifications and data relationships.
