General Labor (2nd Shift) - (Chili, WI)

The General Labor Worker performs routine duties necessary to handle raw materials, fill, weigh, seal, and stack cheese containers. Duties and Responsibilities Complies with safe work practices and lockout/tagout procedures Completes required safety observations Complies with good manufacturing practices and regulatory guidelines Makes, lines, fills, and palletizes 25 pound. and 50 pound. boxes of cheese Sets up and operates production line equipment by loading labels and empty containers, removing and weighing filled containers, monitoring metal detector and other equipment. Ensures that the correct box and liner are used and that pallet labeling is correct Loads, wraps, labels and moves pallets Opens and feeds cheese in the grinding room De-cartons 40-pound cheese blocks Cleans and sanitizes equipment. Maintains related records. Operates pallet jack, forklift if authorized Operates all associated machinery in a safe manner Performs other tasks as required or assigned
