Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic - (Colstrip, MT)

Mechanic. Key Job duties for this position may include but are not limited to: Repair work to equipment, both in the field and in the central shop. Also preventive maintenance on equipment used on the mine site. Runs small support equipment to aid the maintenance process such as forklifts, cranes, and tire handlers. Does work as fueling, laborer work, and work in the steam-bay. Clean work areas as needed and other work associated with the daily operation of a surface coal mine. Current drivers License and Good Driving history High-school certificate or GED equilevant Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends Successfully complete qualification testing Successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Prior mechanical background or mechanical technical education. Expertise to perform all duties and activities in a manner which conforms to mine safety requirements.
