IT Procurement Specialist - (Philadelphia, PA)

Reporting to the Sourcing Manager for IT within Penn Purchasing Services, this position will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT purchasing contracts for hardware, software, and services. The incumbent will interface with university customers in order to understand the business and use case of each contract required, identifying changes necessary to contract terms as well as identifying opportunities to mitigate risk with input from extended stakeholders such as the Privacy Office, General Counsel, and Info Security. This position will be responsible for modifying contract terms to be in closer alignment with current Penn contract, legal, and technology standards. Advanced written correspondence expertise and the expertise to develop contract language to address complex and often ambiguous business, legal, and technical situations is required. Contracts will also be managed through signature and execution process, as well as maintained in the departmental contract management system.SDL2017
