Non-Invasive Peripheral Vascular Laboratory Technician III - (Washington, DC)

Non-Invasive Peripheral Vascular Laboratory Technician III Assists Manager and Medical Director in coordinating daily activities of vascular laboratory, including delegating duties and assisting in evaluating the performance of more junior lab personnel. Provides training/orientation for new staff as required. Performs full range of duties of staff Non-Invasive Peripheral Vascular Laboratory Technician. Knowledge of symptomatology, the disease process, anatomy and medical terminology as would normally be acquired through the graduation from an ARDMS recognized school in Vascular Technology. Approx 3 to 4 years of progressively more responsible job related skills in non-invasive vascular laboratory performing vascular procedures . Registration as a Peripheral Vascular Technician by the ARDMS and the Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification and ACLS are required.
