Position title: Occupational Health & Safety Specialist Where: Fort Meade, MD Pay level: DOE Benefits: Comprehensive benefits Work Schedule: Full-time Posting Date: January 10, 2018 Closing Date: Until Filled Description: The Occupational Health & Safety Specialist (OHSS) will ensure all work activities; equipment maintenance, facility maintenance and documentation conform to established Safety requirements. The OHSS shall support the Site Manager and the Home Office Safety Manager with all contractual safety requirements, training, oversight and record keeping. The OHSS will examine all Safety requirements, review required licenses, and train the workforce as applicable to the required safety standard. Provides and coordinates training and development for personnel.
