For assigned line(s) of business, the Facultative Underwriter will, under direction of assigned unit manager and in accordance with established procedures: underwrite and maintain/service profitable new and renewal business exercising independent judgment based on comprehensive knowledge of policy form terms and conditions and coverage intent; increase our market share, our visibility, and solidify our position as a leader in the marketplace by participating in marketing activities; be dedicated to maximizing the efficiency of the group, maintaining morale, and providing quality service to internal and external customers. What will your essential assignments include? Underwriting * Underwrite terms and conditions and establish pricing for new and renewal property facultative business by gathering, reviewing, and analyzing account info. The territory includes Dallas and the South / Southwest Region.
