Postdoctoral Researcher-Machine Learning - (Yorktown Heights, NY)

IBM Research's Cognitive Analytics (and its Applications to IoT) group is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher with a proven track record in data mining and machine learning with background in optimization and its applications to machine learning. You should have demonstrated creative and innovative research as evidenced by research papers in top conferences and journals, which is based on applied work with novel mathematical approaches and techniques. You are expected to be well versed in modern data analysis tools such as Python (scikit), R, Matlab, Deep Learning platforms/tools (such as Theano, Torch, TensorFlow). Also, be able to work with software teams towards building analytics-based solutions. Background modeling real world problems with Machine Learning and Deep Learning Models for time series data is a plus, as well as handling large data sizes and techniques to analyze such big data problems. Expertise to design and implement algorithms using optimization and machine learning tools is desirable.
