Research Assistant - (San Antonio, TX)

JOB DESCRIPTION Position title: Research Assistant Reports To: Director of Research Exempt: No Job details: The Research Assistant will be responsible for learning multiple research protocols and have the expertise to discuss with potential research participants. Must possess a pleasant phone demeanor and the expertise to maintain professionalism at all times. Competent technical skills, working with EHR, Microsoft and Ms excel. Manage and track recruitment progress, schedule study visits and assist research staff with varying projects as assigned. Must possess the expertise to read and understand medical terminology. Licensure and/or Certification: N/A Background: High-school diploma or GED; Min of one year background in the medical field. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Strong communication abilities written & verbal in group and one on one. Must have the skillset to articulate medical terminology and explain it in layperson's terms.
