Summary:The Project Scientist has the responsibility for commercializing new or existing coatings technology to support the revenue growth and objectives of the corporation. Working as part of a large, technical group, the Project Scientist will spend time working with other chemists, planning directions for research, assembling self directed teams, and meeting with business managers. In addition, the Project Scientist will also work on products from concept through completion, including formulation, raw material evaluation, testing (including bench work and reporting results), and product scale up.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Lead and execute projects for consumer and industrial coatings.Use sound data-based decision processes to draw conclusions from test results and provide input to the rest of the project team
