Process Operator - (Pine Brook, NJ)

Position details Performs duties necessary to operate a variety of production equipment such as extractors, blenders, stills, filters, centrifuges, mills, pumps, compressors, fork lifts and mix tanks, and A septic filling station. Principal Duties and Responsibilities * Understand the operating mechanism of this equipment in order to detect faulty performance and frequently check the performance by simple tests. * Understands the hazards involved in handling and processing materials in a sanitary manner, and knows the methods used to prevent contamination. * Be able to obtain and interpret details shown by instruments, such as temperature, pressure, vacuum or flow indicators, recorders or controllers and make corrective adjustments as required on equipment, based upon details obtained. * Must maintain process documentation as per cGMP requirements showing materials used and produced and pertinent operating details such as pressure, temperature, and vacuum.
