Engineering Manager - (Manhattan, NY)

* Collaborate with the VP of Engineering on the Engineering Team vision and strategy * Architect and write scalable full-stack code * Perform code reviews and write automated tests to ensure high-quality code * Directly manage engineers and team leads * Collaborate with product and design teams to bring projects from conception to production * Improve our site performance and maintain uptime * Source and hire new engineering teammates About you: * Have at least 7 yrs background creating highly-scalable web applications * Have at least 2yrs background directly managing engineers * Extensive technical background working on consumer facing web applications at scale * Previous startup background at similarly sized companies is a plus Why you want the job: * The long term opportunity - we are looking for someone who can help take our Engineering team to the next level as we continue to grow.
