Desktop Technician - (Hallowell, ME)

This position provides info systems support for the client. Persons in this position are expected to work unaided with moderate supervision and lift up to 50lbs. - PCs and related equipment. Ensure all tickets are addressed or updated in a manner that provides the customer and management with a current status of the ticket in accordance with standing departmental policies. Support of the State-Wide Local Area Network Assist with troubleshooting application issues Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of Info Technology equipment (Workstations, and IT peripheral) Recommend Details Systems software and hardware Consult with other Info Systems staff to ensure the timely and reliable delivery of Info Services Serve as a technical liaison to Vendors and Technical Business Consultant (TBC) Provide advice to management within the Office of Info Technology and the Bureaus, Divisions
