Senior Aerospace Test Engineer with Security Clearance - (Lexington Park, MD)

Senior engineer to design, construct, and test aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft and their associated systems. Essential Job Functions: Perform engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft. May conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture. May recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques. Critical skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related qualifications, U.S. Citizenship is required. A Bachelors Degree plus 12yrs of background, a Masters Degree plus ten years of background or a PhD plus 7yrs of background is required. An active Secret security clearance is required. At least 6 yrs of the foregoing total background shall have been in the support or development of aircraft systems or subsystems. At least three years as a team leader, project manager, or principal designer or systems engineer.
