Dock Coordinator (Night Warehouse) - (Dallas, TX)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Load outbound trucks, stage palletized items on the dock for loading, use warehouse management software, check the quality of the pallets completed by night selectors, and confirm all shorted items submitted by the night selectors. KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Order Selectors Night Warehouse Manager Night Warehouse Supervisor(s) Dispatchers Yard Jockey ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Operate a rider pallet jack safely and efficiently. * Ensure pallets are properly placed on truck and positional manifests are complete. * Circle all items not in stock. Contact Supervisor for substitutes and make all proper subs. * Ensure all products are loaded correctly in appropriate vehicle in the correct sequence. Load product to prevent damage during transport. * Efficiently works to keep continuous flow of dock door usage and loading of trucks * Operate AS400 * Seek supervisory approval for all substitutions. * Strictly adhere to all safety rules to include housekeeping and food safety.
