Senior Transactional Surety Underwriter - (Nashville, TN)

The Hanover is seeking a Senior Transactional Surety Underwriter to join our growing team in our Nashville, TN office. Job details: The Senior Surety Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting existing business and developing new business. This person will develop agent relationships through written, verbal and in person communications on a regular basis. This is a Full time, Exempt role. Responsibilities: * Underwrite and manage existing bond accounts through under the direction of senior underwriters, managers or Home Office management, as applicable * Individual development focused on developing underwriting ability and strong agency organizational skills * Underwrite renewal business and renewal lines of credit as applicable for assigned accounts * Meet with agents from assigned agency base/territory to solicit business/submissions through marketing efforts and educate agency representatives on Hanover risk appetite, procedures, point of sale system.
