Claims Analyst- Workers Compensation - (Waukesha, WI)

JOB PURPOSE: Work under the general direction of the Director Global Risk Management to analyze complex or technically difficult claims to determine benefits due and manage claim cost activity with 3rd party administrator; work with high exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation; ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within BrandSafways standards; and manage subrogation of claims and negotiate settlement of multi-jurisdictional workers compensation claims. DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Analyze and process complex or technically difficult claims by investigating and gathering details to determine the exposure on the claim; manage claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution. * For employee workplace incidents, evaluate the initial report of injury and determine whether a workers compensation claim is to be reported to the appropriate State agency, and/or OCIP administrator.
