Resident Construction Engineer The Resident Construction Engineer will coordinate construction contractor, inspection, and testing activities on a heavy civil reconstruction project in the Austin, Texas area. Provides management skill in controlling costs and maintaining overall profitability for project. Assures all production work is performed in accordance with TxDOT-approved plans, specifications, and estimates. Continually monitors work progress and quality of work. Maintains project progress and costs data to assist in analyzing work earned value. Inspects work activities and advises of possible hazards and project delivery issues. Ensures all project personnel are maintaining a safe work atmosphere. Regularly leads project meetings to coordinate future project activities and assure continued productivity.
