Water Resources Operator II - (Mesa, AZ)

Description/Duties The current recruitment will be used to fill 3 vacancies for the Potable Water Treatment Plant assignment. Offering salary may be made above the min of the posted compensation range for this position depending upon requirements and background. Employees may progress through the full compensation range, subject to their successful performance and annual budget approval. A Water Resources Operator II is responsible for managing the complex daily operations and maintenance of City of Mesas water reclamation or potable drinking water treatment plants (depending on assignment) with oversight by the Water Plant Operations Supervisor or Water Reclamation Supervisor. Employees at this level receive occasional supervision, instruction, and assistance as new or unusual situations arise, and must be capable of independent, well-informed, technically correct decisions.
