Report Program Generator Programmer - (Boston, MA)

Responsibilities: * Will create and maintain programs using all of the application development tools deployed by Client Group, INC.; including but not limited to RPG400, RPG4/ILE, RPG Free, CL, DDS, SQL, iForms, Sequel, TL AshFord and Mark Magic. Code will be accurate, optimized and effective. * Will support BPCS LX, Stratum, PKMS, and all other iSeries software applications. * Will ensure all code is thoroughly tested and signed off by users and developers prior to promoting to production environment. * Responsible for documentation and communication of all programs/processes when required. * Will employ effective troubleshooting/issue solving abilities. * Responsible for designing solutions that support the business initiatives and goals of HGI. * Ensures projects are completed accurately, timely, and to specifications. * Maintains basic understanding of business & business systems functionality. * Act as backup for other application developers. * Adhere to all development standards and quality guidelines.
