Description:Leidos has a career opening for an Avionics Installation Technician located in Manassas, VA. POSITION DETAILS: The perfect applicant will perform installation of avionics & navigation equipment per engineering drawings while following wiring standards. The expertise to perform basic soldering, harness fabrication and installation including wire stripping and crimping, fault isolation and repair of avionics system failures. The technician will perform scheduled maintenance on avionics related systems, pitot static & transponder certifications, NAV data base upgrades etc. to meet FAA guidelines and well as the customer satisfaction needs. Work hours may be adjusted for operational requirements. Work atmosphere: Environmental conditions are diverse and could range from an office environment where there is no physical discomfort to an environment where inclement weather may subject individuals to severe changes in temperature, less than adequate lighting, dust and wind.
