Hardware Engineering Manager - (Columbia, MD)

Apply at http://MTAC.balancetrak.com Reporting to the Head of R, this position will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Engineers involved in product development of analytical instrumentation sold to target markets and customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned. * Provide technical and commercial leadership to the hardware, software and firmware team. * Utilize formal project management tools and a formal, structured Product Development process with the goal of delivering projects on time and within budget. Develop, promote and enforce the established product development procedures. * Effectively communicate project status and progress against milestones to key stakeholders. Creates and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of department and report results. * Work with Project Leaders to analyze complex problems; help identify creative, logical, and effective solutions.
