Summary:Supermicro is looking for a Buyer/Planner for their San Jose headquarters. The position serves as team player in the planning of material management functions, includes: Sourcing, Survey new technologies on cables, racks, procurement, policies & procedures related to all supply activities, negotiation, implementing optimal solutions, using MRP/SAP system and customer requirements to assure proper planning to support company rapid growing business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned): * Team up with members to manage material planning and procurements * Research new technologies on cable, rack and thermal solutions * Developing sourcing strategy, search and select suppliers to meet growing business needs * Vendor contract agreement negotiation * Ensure that materials are properly requisitioned
