Medical Claims Examiner - (Greenville, SC)

We are actively seeking to hire a MEDICAL CLAIMS EXAMINER for our subsidiary CWI Benefits located in Greenville, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have background reviewing, evaluating, and authorizing payments on medical claims for services rendered under the various group health plans administered by the company. Must be able to correctly adjudicate claims and provide responses to claim adjudication inquiries from clients in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Background must include the following duties: * Research, analyze and authorize payment or denial on claims for medical services. * Correctly adjudicate a high volume of claims daily. * Working from various reports to reduce claim inventory and to improve timeliness. * Create letters for inquiry or response to members and clients. * Correspond with clients, providers, TPAs, and other entities as needed to finalize claim payment and resolve inquiries. * Process claims for flexible spending accounts.
