LEAD VAN SCHEDULER POSITION INFO 30 hours per week with Full-time benefits Position description: Manages the Community Van Transportation Program's fleet of vans. Tasks include managing volunteer and staff Van Drivers, Scheduler, and Dispatchers, scheduling clients, managing the van schedule and daily program operations to ensure safe and timely transportation of clients to Southwest General for medical services. Adjusts work schedule to accommodate time off for the Van Scheduler. MIN REQUIREMENTS Education: High-school graduate. Post-secondary education preferred. Required length and type of background: Two Years office background required. Lead or supervisory capacity preferred. Knowledge of scheduling, interpersonal relations, and customer service skills. Expertise to multitask and maintain composure when working with clients who include geriatric, special needs, and persons with disabilities. Basic phone and technical skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft programming including Access preferred.
