Chief Engineer Location: Stillwater Mine Position Purpose and Summary: The Chief Engineer, Stillwater Mine, is responsible for providing technical istance support to the mine operations as well as develop, lead, direct, and coordinate mine/staff engineers, surveyors, and technicians in their given operational responsibilities. Ensuring a safe and environmentally excellent setting for the technical team is paramount to the success of the mine. Build an environment that integrates the engineering group into an operations team which challenges and inspires creativity, fact-finding and solution generation. Lead the engineering department in breaking down barriers between other departments. Accountability: The Chief Engineer, Stillwater Mine, reports to the Manager Technical Services on all aspects of administrative and technical operations. Required functions: Provide leadership for a safe and productive mine technical team.
