Columbus McKinnon Corporation Industrial Products Damascus, VA Job details POSITION TITLE: B-2 Painter SUMMARY: This classification requires the painting/staging and unloading of castings and forgings for the assembly areas. This position will either be painting or loading and unloading parts. This may require following written and verbal specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs all work in a manner that conforms to safety and environmental policies of the Company. Perform all inspections per work instructions. Review schedules and Kanbans for priority of product to be painted. Load parts on racks per work instructions. Remove parts after painting, put them in designated storage locations. Drive stand up forklift as required to move pallets of material. Man the powdercoat/wetpaint booth as needed. Position is required to wear protective suits in the paint booths.
