Manuscript Editor American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), a medical professional society headquartered in eastern Loudoun County, VA, is seeking a full time Manuscript Editor for its monthly peer-reviewed journal and other publications. This position is responsible for copyediting and proofreading manuscripts to meet established publication schedules and quality standards. The successful applicant will have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities; 2-three years' background in scientific editing; proficiency in Ms office, Adobe Acrobat, and manuscript review software; current knowledge of copyright and permissions in journal publishing; familiarity with the AMA Manual of Style; attention to detail; and a record of effectively and productively managing multiple projects and deadlines.
