Accounting Technician - (Aspen, CO)

Accounting Technician Aspen based property management company seeks experienced full-time accounting technician to join growing team. Performs daily accounting, AP and AR functions, & office management tasks. Also assists with client and bldg management issues as needed. Background in AP/AR or staff accounting role, and an AA degree in bus.or accounting. Additional background may substitute for education. Aggressive compensation & benefits. Sample Duties: Reconciles, compiles, and tracks financial info manually or by computer in order to maintain an accurate balance for a given accounting period; posts payments received and authorizes payments to vendors, contractors, or clients. Communicates verbally and in writing with fund recipients, departments, and other agencies in order to resolve discrepancies and exchange or relate details regarding contract budgeting compliance, financial record corrections, and inter-department/agency appropriations or expenditures.
