Director of Internal Audit - Pharmacists Mutual - (Algona, IA)

Pharmacists Mutual has an opening for a Director of Internal Audit. This role is responsible for overseeing and leading complex reviews and ensuring the proper execution of the audit strategy. The role evaluates current policies and processes to ensure the adequacy of the control environment. This position interacts effectively across all levels of the organization and builds strong working partnerships cross-functionally with business units. In conjunction with the CEO and subject to approval by the Audit Committee, the Director of Internal Audit develops the overall audit strategy to assess the control framework in relation to risks for the parent company and its subsidiaries. Manages the overall internal audit functions by understanding the key current and emerging risks within subject areas. Regularly provides internal audit reports and whistleblower investigation results to the Audit Committee and conducts any follow up actions as directed by the Committee or Board of Directors.
