Position Summary The Snow Shoveler position is responsible for removing snow on assigned residential or commercial sites on an "as needed" basis. Primary function is to remove snow using a shovel or snow blower. The Snow Plow/Equipment Operator position is responsible for removing snow on assigned residential or commercial sites on an "as needed" basis. Primary function is to remove snow with a plow, Bobcat, or other equipment. Position also requires removing snow with a shovel or snow blower. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Removes snow using pickup plow, Bobcat, shovel or snow blower for several hours at a time, depending on the amount of snowfall. Applies salt for several hours at the time, depending on weather conditions. Places removed snow in appropriate locations, avoiding piling it on trees, shrubs, fire hydrants or sidewalks.
