Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Suffield,CT) - (Suffield, CT)

JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for assisting ME s in the development and implementation of product into the manufacturing operation. Its major emphasis is the technical support of tooling, work instructions, process/method definition, and floor support. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Update and maintain operation WI s & Batch sheets. 2. Develop actions to reduce scrap and process cost. 3. Process and method improvement. 4. New process planning and development. 5. Actively participate, promote and comply with all EH&S programs and policies. 6. Technical Support to shop floor and other business areas. 7. Perform other duties as assigned. Pursuing a bachelor s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemistry from an accredited college. Strong written and oral communication expertise required.
