Mechanic/diesel - (Tinton Falls, NJ)

Maintains diesel and non-diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records. Excavators, Front End Loaders, Conveyors, Screeners, Roll-off trucks, Tractor Trailers, Cars, and other vehicles will be maintained by this position. This position will be a 2nd shift position. Diesel Technician Mechanic Job assignments: Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts. Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion; completing winterization procedures.
