Environmental education fellow - (Lanesboro, MN)
Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center is a private, non-profit, accredited outdoor school that empowers people to care for the earth and each other. As 1 of 12 participants in the year-long fellowship, you develop teaching, interpretive, and public relations techniques rooted in residential environmental education as a part of the fellowship community. Fellows are exposed to a wide variety of audiences and through instructing our hands-on, experiential, and inquiry-based classes. Professional growth and learning is accomplished through direct teaching background supported by staff, professional workshops, and a series of observations and evaluations. Responsibilities: Teach large and small groups in environmental, adventure, and cultural programing Coordinate and lead residential and day-use programs for visiting groups Learn and present one-hour naturalist program, typically in the evenings twice a month Attend and participate in weekly training seminars and staff meetings Plan, lead
