Our client in Oklahoma City, OK is looking for a Medical Collector. The applicant will be working within a centralized billing office. Responsibilities: The Medical Collector is responsible for collecting both inpatient and outpatient claims on behalf of hospitals and medical groups. Knowledge of early-out collections a plus Thorough knowledge of collecting from commercial insurances, Medicare and Medicaid is preferred - Any errors may result in a delay or loss of reimbursement. The applicant must have a thorough understanding of 3rd party payment qualifications to ensure that bills are posted correctly. Qualifications: 2+ year's knowledge of working within the Hospital revenue cycle or medical groups and collecting on inpatient/outpatient facility fees. Outstanding communication abilities.
