REPORTS TO: Flexible Benefits Supervisor LOCATION: Missoula FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt JOB DUTIES: The Flexible Benefits Claims Examiner is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of flexible benefit claims according to the regulations defined in Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code. The incumbent will interpret group summary plan descriptions to assist client contacts and plan participants on all issues relating to flexible benefits. The incumbent is expected to communicate professionally with peers, supervisors, subordinates, vendors, customers, and the public, and to be respectful and courteous in the conduct of this position. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Essential job functions include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change. Verifies the accuracy and receipt of all required documentation. Codes each claim from a scanned image and enters appropriate info as required for processing. Reviews and processes claims according to IRS regulations.
