Associate Scientist I, Immunology - Immune Cell Signaling & Molecular Biology - (Shrewsbury, MA)

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative scientist with background in Immunology, immune cell signaling and molecular biology to join the AbbVie Global Biologics Discovery organization in Worcester, MA. This individual will work in drug discovery cross-functional teams both internally and externally to characterize and test recombinant proteins for different therapeutic areas including Immunology, Neuroimmunology and Immuno-oncology. Responsibilities: Perform mammalian cell culture and independently develop, run, analyze and troubleshoot in vitro assays, such as ELISA, western blot, FACs & cell-based activity assays. Use developed in vitro assays to validate and characterize novel therapeutic proteins Demonstrate innovation and strong issue solving, issue solving abilities and be a team member.
