Description **$5K Sign-On minimum. 1 yr background in acute care setting with a 2 yr commitment (Not be a current CHRISTUS Health associate or a former Good Shepherd associate within the past 12 mnths) Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepares equipment and assists physician during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress. Qualifications Certification/Licensure Current Texas license as a registered nurse. Education Graduate of professional school of nursing. Other Skills/Competencies Expertise to perform the required functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others.
