Front Office Team Member - (Cedar Rapids, IA)

Gastroenterologists, P.C., an affiliate of Unity Point Health – St. Luke's Hospital, is looking for a full-time front office team player to join our busy medical practice. Some of the duties include: Welcoming patients and visitors by providing courteous, caring and professional assistance Answering telephone calls in clear, calm and professional manner Screen telephone calls and route properly Gather, verify and enter demographic and insurance details on new or established patients necessary for completion of electronic health record and insurance claim processing at each visit on accounting system Scheduling office visits Open and/or close the clinic Collect co-pays, issue receipts and reconcile daily receivable activity to prepare for daily deposits We are looking for a positive team player to collaborate closely with our patients, referral sources, insurance companies and providers to provide exceptional patient care.
