Lead carpenter - (Gatlinburg, TN)

Candidates must have five years of full-time, verifiable background with a working understanding of all facets of remodeling (residential and light commercial) and some portion of this background in concrete flatwork and foundations. Lead Carpenters can expect work to be delegated to them by our Project Managers, but you are expected to not need direct supervision to accomplish your tasks. You need to perform layout and supervision when your Project Manager is not on site. Owns basic carpentry tools such as tool belt, hammer, drills etc. (including hard hat, eye and ear protection, construction-grade footwear) Dependable, presentable transportation with a CURRENT DRIVERS LICENSE. Valid driver's license with an excellent record (record to be verified with our insurance carrier) Thorough knowledge of construction materials and terminology Expertise to follow written and verbal instructions; expertise to fill out forms legibly Computer background: fluency with mainstream software that performs scheduling
