Managed Services Backup & Recovery Engineer - (Madison, WI)

**Job description:** The primary purpose of this position is to fully manage and maintain customer backup and recovery environments, and to ensure high levels of availability and success around customer backup job activity. This position will focus on the operational stability and maintenance of enterprise backup and recovery solutions, located in customer and/or hosted data center facilities. **Primary Duties & Responsibilities** + Performs tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements with customers regarding backup success rates, backup run times, and overall backup and recovery support performance + Communicates and enforces, through system procedures, backup and recovery policies + Follows change control, incident response, and testing processes for modifications to backup jobs, schedules and applicable software updates + Anticipates, mitigates, identifies, responds to, and resolves issues with backup jobs, restore requests
