Medical Only Claims Adjuster Harrisburg, PA USA Full-time / Perm Position + Solid benefits + 401K Multiple Positions Available JOB OVERVIEW: Under close supervision manages all aspects of Medical Only claims handling from inception to conclusion within established authority and guidelines. This job requires considerable interaction with clients, claimants on the phone, and with management, other Claims Examiners, and other staff in the office; therefore consistently being at work in the office or home office location as applicable, in a timely manner, is inherently required of this position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete three point contacts with the injured worker, employer and doctor. Documents all the calls and gives recommendation to Supervisor whether to accept the claim. Documents all work product and claim activity in the electronic claim file. Prepares and prints letters & benefit notices. Answers phone calls, take messages and responds appropriately.
