Research Associate - Production System Development - Driscoll's - (Watsonville, CA)

About the Opportunity The Research Associate Production System Development role will execute the research work focused around production system development; which includes greenhouse, growth chamber, and substrate production. The role will execute research projects on raspberry, blackberry, strawberry and blueberry across these production systems. Additionally, this role will require monitoring of environmental conditions, plant health and data collection at our research facility. Responsibilities Manage and execute research projects as assigned and prioritized. Regular visitation and monitoring of experiments for observation, documentation, adjustments and data collection to ensure quality and accuracy of data. Responsible for statistical analysis, writing research reports, and communication of results. Monitors environmental conditions and control equipment for proper function and control. Regular interaction with key teammates and stakeholders. Maintains and checks equipment necessary to perform job.
