* Duties HelpDuties Summary WHAT DOES A HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ASSISTANT DO? As a Human Resources (HR) Assistant you will perform a variety of clerical and adminstrative duties in support of specific areas relative to personnel management and human resources. Depending on the area for which you are assigned, your responsibilities may include personnel and payroll accounting and reporting functions in a Payroll Center, supporting others in designing, developing, executing, managing, and administering training programs, employee benefits, and/or personnel/payroll processing. In addition, if applying for a Lead position, you will also serve as a work leader to assist the manager in both work related and administrative areas by resolving problems and irregularities, making decisions on most technical and operational matters.
