The University of Akron's Wayne Campus has an opening for 4 positions as a Facilities Maintenance Worker part time regular for the Physical Plant. EEO/AA Employer/Veterans/Disabled Responsibilities Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of Wayne Campus buildings and grounds. Set up and tear down settings for the special events held on campus. Key functions: Clean classrooms and offices. Mop, waxe, buff,or scrub floors and carpets. Wipe down chalkboards and empty trash receptacles.Perform outside maintenance by mowing grass, trimming shrubs, weeding and fertilizing the lawn. Remove snow and ice and spread salt on the sidewalks during the winter seasons.Set up and tear down special settings for functions held at the college. Direct the work of student helpers assigned.
