Current College Students - Summer Unity Coding Camp Teachers in South and East - (Tacoma, WA)
This position manages the weekly program for approx twenty students, including teaching the curriculum, and supervising indoor and recess/lunch activities. The lead instructor also directs the activities of the assistant. The ideal candidate has background teaching or working with student groups, along with skills compatible to teaching hands-on Unity and 3d printing lessons. TRAINING & SCHEDULE: - Applicants must be available for training prior to the start of camp. Applicants must commit to work at least six weeks. - Camp runs from 9am - 3:30 pm Monday-Friday. Work hours are typically 8:15-3:45 for lead instructors, and 8:45-5 for assistants who also help with the extended care session. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Lead and/or assist a group of students in specific camp programs and activities, including teaching, guiding and helping students with Unity 3D game-making and 3D printing projects. - Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers assigned to your classroom.
