Remote Mobile SDET - (Austin, TX)

Modis is seeking a remote Mobile SDET for a direct-hire opportunity. This position is 100% remote. Preference towards applicants near a major city in order to travel as needed. This is an engineering role that will focus on developing digital QA solutions based on open-source cloud-based mobile device environments. In order to be successful, you must be able to develop code, debug, and provide recommendations for digital QA and Devops by utilizing automation. Background with Java, Selenium, Appium, and automation will be required. Responsibilities: Lead technical discussions and develop QA solutions. Work on open-source cloud-based mobile device testing solutions. Provide technical guidance and resolutions for clients. Develop short code, debug, and provide recommendations for digital QA and DevOps. Automation and system architecture. Telecommute and travel 25%. Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred, or an equivalent amount of practical background.
