Summary Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.May be multi-credentialed in the area of sonography.Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.Other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities Produces high-quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitionerAssists with amnio procedure biopsies Processes and files films as neededQualifications: Education Required: Graduate of an licensed institution of Diagnostic SonographyPreferred: Associates degree Experience desired: 1-three years Certifications Required: Must be registered within 24 mnths of graduation(and 12 mnths of hire); BLSPreferred: ARDMS or ARRT(S ) preferred Part time Varying Shifts to include Sat 7am-7pm
