Position description Well:regarded general practice law firm seeks a Patent Associate Attorney to become a part of its team in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or computer science. Admission to the patent bar is required. Responsibilities: :The ideal candidate will practice in the areas of patent and trademark law, patent prosecution, licensing and litigation support :Key responsibilities include preparation and prosecution of patents and, to a lesser extent, patent litigation x200B; x200B;Requirements: :2+ years of patent preparation and prosecution background :An undergraduate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferable. :Admission to the patent bar is required :Admission to the State Bar of Georgia or North Carolina strongly preferred :Excellent academic credentials required from undergrad and law schoolCompany Description
